Our first season in Leuven — and it's only getting better

Leuven Bike Tours has a first season behind it. What a start!
We are the younger sibling of Antwerp Bike Tours, and we launched this year with the same simple idea: take people through the city the way a friend would — no rushing, no textbook, just the city and the time to enjoy it. Guests arrived curious and left with stories, and the words they wrote afterwards say it far better than we could.

The line-up grew along the way, too. Alongside our guided city tours we now ride tailor-made routes built around whatever you are curious about, with a terrace stop for a cold drink and something local whenever the day calls for it. Groups, families, friends visiting for the weekend: we have taken them all out, and every single tour turned out a little different.
Something else we brought over from Antwerp: the trees. Since 2019 our family has been planting trees across Belgium to offset the footprint of every tour we ride — over a hundred of them so far, put in the ground at a yearly event where guests, guides and volunteers all grab a spade together. And now, autumn — quietly the best cycling season Leuven has. Golden light on the Oude Markt, silent courtyards, fewer crowds, and temperatures that are just right. We keep riding straight through it.
